ToolRivet is built as a static, browser-first developer toolbox. The tools are designed to run locally after the page loads.
Browser-Side Tool Processing
Tool input is processed with client-side JavaScript in your browser. ToolRivet does not provide a backend API for formatting, decoding, generating, or converting your tool input, and tool input is not sent to ToolRivet servers for processing.
No Accounts, Ads, or Tool Input Storage
You do not need an account to use ToolRivet. The site has no ads and no server-side persistence for tool values.
Share Links
Some tools can copy their current state into the URL hash. URL hashes are handled by the browser and are not sent to the server during normal page requests, but anyone with the full link can read or restore the encoded state.
Do not share links containing secrets, tokens, private data, customer data, or production payloads unless you understand that the data is included in the link itself.
Analytics
In production, ToolRivet may use Umami analytics on stats.toolrivet.dev for aggregate, cookie-free page-view counts. Tool input is not sent to analytics. See the privacy policy for details.
